WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

Our prince and princesses in waiting

So far this year we have had some lovely kittens and it is always hard to resist keeping them. It is a commonly asked question 'How do you manage to let the kittens go, are you not sad and I would have to keep them all'.....Well to answer that yes it is sad but you learn over the years to tell yourself that you are a foster carer for these babies until their new owners can take them home.  Having a waiting list also helps as you know the homes are just waiting. As all people are vetted I can be confident knowing they will be taken care of to the standard I expect I am probably more sad to let the long term adults go as they may have been with you many years, however the cats happiness must come first.  As a social breed they deserve a home with lots of attention something they cannot get here when there are other cats and kittens about.
It is not realistic to keep all cats whether kittens or retired cats and so you have to be quite  grown up about your decisions so you do the right thing by the cats you do keep.  However sometimes you just see a kitten that wows you and get talked into keeping them....That is what has happened here with some of these kittens like Arlo. Others I kept to carry on parents lines.
You also have to look at the cats you have and decide when to bring in fresh bloodlines.  This year I will be retiring the majority of my original cats and the kittens I kept last year...Why??? Because some are getting on now and need to retire and others are not right in breeding for various reasons.  So at the end of the year I will be hopefully bringing into my cattery 3 new import cats. 1 male from France and 2 females from Russia, They are all cats with traditional pedigrees and no colourpoint in lines. The new cats will help inject fresh new blood into my traditional breeding helping ensure diversity and health.  I will be keeping a select few of my cats from this year.

So here are the kittens I have chose to keep this year so far......

daughter of Dahlia and Zhenda.... she is a stunning girl of large size and quite a bold confident character. Never still for more than five minutes, she currently lives with fighter my neuter male in my boyfriends home whilst i am busy with kittens. She will come back home soon. This is zen as a baby....... warm golden brown mackerel tabby

Son of Narcyza and Rasputin.  I had not intended to keep this boy and was going to let him go abroad as a breeding male but after much discussion and persuasion from my boyfriend i decided he was too rare to sell and I kept him.  He will take over daddy when he retires next year.  Arlo is a rare and beautiful red silver shaded who will hopefully produce lovely silver shaded kittens in future. He has a wonderful character, very loving, always purring and confident.  Everything you could want in a male kitten for breeding.  I look forward to his offspring in 2017. He has a complete colourpoint free traditional pedigree.

Cleo and Crystal
Daughter of Xara and Max.  Both these cats have retired and i had intended to keep a daughter however i Could not decide between the two silver girls.  Cleo is  darker silver but tarnish free slightly better type than her sister and slightly longer coat.  Crystal is the lighter silver and extremely pretty also.  She has a great clear colour.  Both sisters have wonderful temperaments and should be beautiful cats when grown.
