WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Kittens available

We will have a litter of siberian kittens due early September from our Gorgeous matriarch QGC Kiskasiberians Karlisa. This is her last litter and the father is the Gorgeous Marcel de la Korrigane of our friends Orlenda siberians. We have people waiting for kittens but depending on litter size may have the odd kitten left for rehoming. We will be hoping to keep a female from this mating to take over from Karlisa. This will mean we will be looking for a retirement home for this female who is just over 5 years old now. This was our first breeding female and she holds a special place in my heart. She has done very well at shows and holds the TICA title of Quadruple Grand Champion. She is a very loving female and very talkative who loves human interaction. Her grandson is our young stud cat and will carry on her lines here along with a daughter if all goes to plan. I would like an indoor home ideally local with no other cats so I can visit her regularly. Someone who would like to show would be an advantage as she is of show standard and enjoys showing. If you think you can offer this then please contact me. I will miss her but unfortunately cannot keep her with other breeding cats. She is a gorgeous silver tabby siberian. Her father is the wonderful IWSGC Angelur Viking who did very well in his day by becoming 2nd best siberian cat in the world with tica and best siberian in the U.K and Europe a few years ago. Here she is in winter coat.

News: 2014

Some news on plans for 2014. We will be retiring two girls and keeping daughters from them in late 2013 early 2014. Theses cats will be looking for retirement homes ideally with no other cats so if you can offer a home to a young retired breeding female please contact me. Regular visitors to my website will know that I have not updated it in a long time. This is because I am looking at a complete overhaul for 2014. I plan to design a new site with a web designer. This will be something completely different and special so keep a look out for this in early 2014. Obviously we will be planning more kittens from new breeding cats and also repeating some of this years matings so the waiting list for next year is open. Our kittens are reserved in advance generally so if wanting a gorgeous Druzhina siberian please get in touch early with your requests to be considered for the waiting list with as much information about yourself as possible.

Cattery news, Rasputin's heart scan

We are pleased to announce our handsome daddy was clear on echocardiogram of his heart for HCM and other heart defects. HCM is a genetic disease that causes thickening of the ventricle in the heart and results in heart failure eventually. Not believed to be a huge problem in this breed but is something that can affect any breed. We are aiming to get all our cats scanned when old enough on a regular basis. Our other male is too young at only five months but his grandmother, father and auntie have all had clear heart scans. We hope to get Dahlia and Adrianne scanned before their next litter. This is to help us in breeding healthy kittens free of known disease. We are also in the process of testing our cats for Feline Coronavirus and hope to have this done in a couple of months. Breeding from fcov free cats means none of our kittens will ever develop FIP a deadly disease of cats providing they are not exposed to it when in new homes. So we hope for good news on this front. News to follow. We are also looking into having kidney scans at the same time as heart scans but it all depends on the cats as the heart scans can take awhile and keeping them still for this long is difficult for some younger cats. This would be to rule out Polycystic kidney disease although reports of this are few and far between and not really a problem in this breed. Our breeding cats are all tested negative for FIV/FELV, vaccinated for cat flu, enteritis, chlamydia, Bordetella and FELV as standard. They receive regular parasite control and get annual vet checks. We always try to breed healthy, happy kittens. If looking for a siberian please ensure you seek out your breeder carefully to help prevent future health problems Handsome Rasputin

Naroznik 9 weeks old

Naroznik is a black mackerel tabby male who is very warm in colour. He had his first vaccine last week at nine weeks old. He is a cheeky boy and boss of the group when it comes to toys. He loves his feather toy on a stick and gets very protective of it should the others try to steal it. It is very funny to watch him run round the room growling with it in his mouth. He is a warm colour and very pretty for a boy with huge lynx tips. He is RESERVED for Jacqueline and family and will join them early september. Here are some pictures of him at nine weeks.

Nafanail 9 weeks old

Another of Adrianne and Rasputins babies, a lovely black classic tabby male with white. He is a calm but lively boy and loves his food. This is our first classic pattern kitten in five years, it is recessive to Mackerel the most common tabby pattern. He had his first vaccine last week and was very brave. This kitten is RESERVED for Ben and family. Thanks for your patience Ben. He has waited along time for his kitten after letting us keep his initial choice earlier this year. I hope this kitten has been worth the wait for you. Very handsome boy. Here are some pictures at nine weeks old:

Nikifor 9 weeks old

This boy is from Adrianne and Rasputin's litter. Pictured here at 9 weeks old he had his first vaccine and was a very brave boy. He is also a brown mackerel tabby siberian and is reserved for kim and family and will be living with Onisifor. A well mannered boy who is slowly gaining confidence. With alot of strong characters in his litter he took to taking the back seat an being a quiet observer inititally. As he matures his confidence should grow and his half brother im sure will be happy to help show him the way. Here are some pictures:

Neonilla 9 weeks old

This little girl is from Rasputin and Adrianne's first litter. What can I say about this girl other than wow!!! This in my opinion is what a Siberian is. You can picture her in the forest with her very traditional wild look and colouring. This girl has got an amazing head and coat, strong chin, good boning, amazing lynx tips and great temperament. Just a little on the small side but type and temperament is of more importance than size. I just love her look so much. Her character is also lovely, a confident baby who takes after mummy and keeps her cheeky brothers in line. Letting this one go will be hard as I would love to keep her but I have to harden up as its not the best time to keep anymore kittens. She is RESERVED and will go as a pet to live with Stephen and family, im sure they are thrilled im not keeping her. Its always hard letting kittens go but sometimes every once in a while a special one comes along that warms your heart and then it is so hard but it is for the best this time. I will be repeating this mating again and hope for an equally lovely girl for myself in the near future. This is the look im trying to achieve and wild type and colour of what a siberian in native Russia would look like. My little beauty

Onisifor 9 weeks old

This little boy is sister to Onoslava, he is also a warm brown mackerel tabby siberian with lovely lynx tips on his ears. Very cheeky fearless boy at home and will investigate anything. He is RESERVED also for kim and her lovely family. He will be living with Nikifor who is a few days older. It is always nice when two kittens go together. He also had his first vaccine last week and will be leaving after he has completed his vaccine course, been neutered and chipped like all our pet babies. Here is Dahlia and Rasputins cheeky baby
