WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

Litter O...Hello world!

Dahlia had her babies three days after Adrianne a surprising small litter of only two this time but they are two huge kittens and bigger than litter N which isnt surprising all the milk they are getting. We have a gorgeous boy and girl both doing really well after their initial upset when mum tried to hide them from me. Both brown mackerel tabbies but with strong golden tones especially the female. I dont think they are full goldens like mum but will be very warm brown tabbies. Both are under observation for a few more weeks and looking very nice. The female may go to a breeder. I may let the male go to a traditional breeding program if the right person comes along but all depends on development. All kittens will be offered to my waiting list so no more enquiries please at present. I did say I would not have anymore kittens this year but I may have one more litter for those people who may miss out on a kitten this time if any go for breeding. I will be intouch with the waiting list when I know more. So here are a few pics of the kittens and lovely mummy Female:

Litter N....Hello world

Here are the first pictures of Adrianne and Rasputin's babies at 8 days old. They are all doing well now and 10 days old. Eyes are starting to open and they are moving around more and even trying to play with each other. Mummy has been great and allows me to handle them without any fuss. All are still under observation at present until 3 weeks when they will then be offered to my waiting list. A couple of the babies look promising so if you are a registered breeder interested in this mating please contact me. Any cats sold for breeding must be in a traditional breeding program and not to be bred directly to colourpoint cats. Conditions will apply. All kittens are black tabbies in either mackerel or classic pattern The boys: Boy 1:

Litters N and O are here

Just a quick update to say Adrianne had her babies on sunday evening she had 5 babies but unfortunately one of the girls was still born so we have 1 female and 3 males all mackerel brown tabbies apart from one boy who is a classic brown tabby. This is the first time ive had a classic in 5 years and also the first time having a still born so it was a happy and sad time. Dahlia had her babies today but it was a small litter of two for her both mackerel brown tabbies one male one female. All are doing well. Mums are very protective so no pictures as yet. There may be one or two available after the waiting list have chosen in a few weeks so please contact me to go on the list. I will post pictures when mums are more relaxed with handling. Litter M will be leaving at the weekend to join their new families apart from naughty maxsim who will be staying here as hopefully as future stud next year.

New cat care advice blog coming soon....

I have decided to produce a blog specifically for cat care and general advice from a breeder and veterinary perspective. This is aimed at promoting responsible ownership and giving guidance to cat owners. It is not a place for advice on illnesses although I will touch on aspects of preventative healthcare to help promote good health. I decided to do this as I get a lot of people whether it be owners of my kittens or the general public emailing for advice on cat care so rather than have to repeat myself I decided to have this public blog to share information. People who own my babies are lucky enough to have some of this advice via their own cat care manual written by myself given in the kitten pack but the information would also benefit others. I see a lot of owners who are just not aware of the correct care needed when owning a cat so I want to educate as many people as I can on helping their loved pets stay as healthy as possible for as long as possible. Once I have produced this separate blog there will be a link on here so you can easily access this information. The information on it is my own personal experiences from over 14 yrs in veterinary practice as a nurse and a wealth of knowledge from owning cats for over 20 years and breeding for five years now. A lot of the information is also guidance from the veterinary profession. It is to be taken as advice only as I feel it important to educate owners on correct cat care. It will take awhile for me to build up an archive of articles so will be a work in progress. I have a specific interest in all things feline and hope to do further specialist studies in this area in the near future through my work as a veterinary nurse so should be able to expand greater on this knowledge in future and share it with owners. I hope this will be helpful as a reference point for owners and new breeders alike who choose to follow it. The babies of litter M are all doing great and had their first vaccs a couple of weeks ago and will have the 2nd vaccs and neuter/chip week after next before they leave for new homes. I have decided to keep maxsim here as he is looking very nice in his fathers place. He is a wonderfully confident third generation Druzhina baby who is right at home with the dogs here as completely fearless and into everything. A fantastic temperament which is important in a stud cat as this trait is passed genetically even though they have no involvement in the rearing of the kittens. His father is a magnificent cat with the same character so I hope he will produce equally friendly babies. As most of the kittens I produce are pets I feel this is very important after health and try to produce kittens with great character that are well adjusted to family living. The rest of the kittens will be going as pets. I hope to get one last set of pictures next week before they leave us. Its always a sad time when they go but lovely to see the joy it brings new owners. Not long now for them to wait so exciting time for them all. Litter N and O will be due middle to end of next week also so hopefully two new litters of healthy kittens to be welcomed into the world very soon. Limited places available for these kittens so please contact me for a place on the wait list. These will be the last litters this year for now.
