WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

The babies 1 week old

Well I have finally managed to get some pictures of the first special litter of this year at 1 week old. They are all doing brilliantly and mum is being very good hardly ever leaving the nest. They are all fat little chubby babies with nice round bellies and big voices and gaining weight well. Mum is happy for me to handle them whilst in her sight for minimal periods. I try to handle them on a regular basis even at this young age to help produce kittens with good character which is important. All these kittens are on hold for my waiting list and will only become available should they not get taken by these people. I have now contacted the first four people on the list and will contact others at a later date depending on what these people want to do. I won't allow reservations until minimum 3 weeks as its a crucial time to survival and also I won't know anything about character before then and may not until 6 weeks or so. The red boy I think is a red silver and the other two boys are black smokes but one having more silver than the other so will end up looking quite grey rather than black and the little girl is a silver tabby with cute white feet and white on face. he is by far the most dominant when it comes to feeding and has a very good weight comparable to her brothers. I like her very much but cannot keep her so she may become available for breeding depending on her development and suitable homes. She has a lovely round head and wide muzzle and is of a good size but it is very early to tell just yet. So here are the adorables, Four indiviual pictures of each kitten and group shots and ofcourse mum. Thanks to everyone for waiting patiently for these pictures. I will also post a link to a video of them with mum nursing so you can see them moving.

Wait is on

We I thought I would do a quick post to let the people on my waiting list now how things are going. Patiently waiting now for Dinaras babies which are due any time now. No sign yet. She is happily going about things as normal. All the babies have potential owners on my waiting list so I won't know if any will be available until the waiting list have chosen. I just want to recap how you go about adopting one of my kittens as I have had several emails asking about kittens due soon. You must firstly contact me with as much information about yourself as possible. Your home, work, experience owning cats, children and reasons for choosing the breed. Once happy you can provide a suitable home I can place you on the waiting list once a £100 deposit has been received. You will then be offered a kitten in order of list once any potential breeding cats have been assessed. Myself and breeders will be offered first pick. I do not plan on keeping any so this should not be the case this year. You will then be kept upto date on here with pictures etc until the time comes to view kittens. I allow visits from 8 weeks old normally. Some breeders allow visits after the first vaccine at 9 weeks but this doe not provide any protection for the kittens as they are not fully protected until the course is completed. You will have to wear clean clothes and have not visited any other catteries that day. I maintain steps once here to ensure hygiene and prevention of bugs spreading by asking you to remove your shoes and use alcohol gel on hands. I can only allow one visit before adoption due to time constraints. You will b given all the necessary information before collecting your kitten. Once you have chose your kitten a further £100 is needed to reserve them and the balance payable on collection. No money is refundable unless there is a problem from my end. All kittens go from 13 weeks, sometimes the females may have to go alittle later than that depending on how they recover from their neutering. All pet kittens are chipped and neutered as extras on top of the usual things like worming, vaccination etc and your kitten will go with a full kitten pack and pedigree to make the transition to thier new home as smooth as possible. Our next breeding plan ill take place once these babie are born between the following: DAHLIA AND RASPUTIN. I expect mainly warm brown tabbies and possible goldens. There should be some space on the waiting list for a few people so please contact me early to ensure you get some kitten choice. I will ofcourse update further once the first litter of 2013 are born. Please note my landline number is nolonger available for contact as I have moved home. Either email: clareferris27@yahoo.co.uk or phone 07902850387. please dont send text messages about kittens as I cannot speak to you properly this way

one adult left for rehoming

Update on cats available. All cats have now either been reserved or left for new homes apart from Ellie. Ellie is a bluepoint with white, full pedigree siberian. he is a quiet cat and homes that have become available where not suitable due to young children. I think she would be better suited in a quiet home with someone who understands cats and has patience. She is shy at first but when she knows you she enjoys attention and to play. he is a young adult, 4 yrs old. already spayed and chippe and upto date with worming and flea treatment etc. she is ready now for more pictures please see her web page under my cats via Druzhina siberians. I would like to ask people to be patient with enquiries pictures etc as I am now in the proces off moving cats. Fighter and khariton have now moved into the new house along with Dinara yesterday who is getting settled in her very own kitten nursery ready for her babies in less than ten days all being well. I will try and put some pictures on if I have time. birth new will follow. Karlisa will be moving in with me today and the rest over the next couple of weeks once the other rooms are ready. Its all hands on deck at the moment. I will still take enquiries for up and coming litters but this due litter has enough people on the list at present. The people on my lit will be offered first refusal after breeders and then if any are left I will make it known here. I will be doing another mating once this litter are born of which there will be space for. Waiting list places only available once you have told me about yourself and your home, work situation and any other relevant information I ask for. Once accepted you will need to pay a deposit to go on waiting list. I no longer take kitten enquiries without the above. If you would like to get an idea of the kind of kitten I produce please scroll to the bottom of the blog for pictures of some past kittens in a rainbow of colours. This may help with your decision on what colour to have. I must say all colours are wonderful as im sure you will agree. All are reared to the highest standards to ensure a well balanced healthy baby. Testimonials from past owners can also be seen on my website, testimonials page. Please be aware my kittens are not available to those looking for a bargain. I invest alot of time and effort into producing cats of high quality and so do alot of reputable breeders. Breeding cats is easy but breeding well balanced animals physically and emotionally is hard work. The old saying you get what you pay for is certainly true in all walks of life so please invest in a kitten from a good breeder to help ensure you have a friendly, healthy companion for life. I would like to take the opportunity to again thank all the wonderful owners of my babies over the years. They have all been lucky to find great, loving homes and may it continue. I love seeing updates from owners and its amazing to see how they have grown and hear of there funny and sometimes clever antics. Definitely not a dull moment when you have a siberian about the house. more news to follow soon so please keep checking back........
