WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

Dahlia's babies are here

Just a quick post to say Dahlia had her kittens this afternoon all is well and they are feeding fine. We have a mix of blue silver, black silver tabbies/torties and what I think is a blue smoke. A huge 7 babies for her first litter. Well done mum she was brilliant! More news to follow soon.

  1. The Magnificent Seven!
Very happy to hear that she and the kittens are all well.
I don't understand about Siberian colour expression, does this mean that the kittens will all carry a gene for gold even if they are not gold themselves?
Please can you tell me who the father is?
You are going to be very busy for the next few weeks with all these kittens about!
    Hope they all stay well.

  2. thankyou yes all are doing well, they should all carry the wide band gene for gold colour as gold is recessive. I have a few cats that carry gold, you can sometime tell by gold tarnish in the silvers which I think a couple have. Dad is a red silver so all females will be tortie also carrying gold gene

  3. congrats...and what a brood..they'' keep yeh busy!!

  4. Yes 12 kittens in total...will certainly be fun to say the least, the others look huge in comparison to the new borns now :)
