WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

Ellie's babies (Litter C) 24 hours old

It has been a happy and sad 24 hrs, we saw the arrival of 6 beautiful babies and now we are down to five. The blue boy unfortunately passed away in the early hours with breathing problems. I don't know what happened as he was fine and feeding, the only thing I can think is that he may have been accidently layed on as mum initially kept trying to cover them up. I am ofcourse keeping a very close eye on the others and supplement feeding them (but they hate it) aswell as them feeding on their own. Some are however feeding better than others right now so it is a very tense time. I hope all goes well with the rest of them as you can imagine very upset right now and it makes a happy time very sad.
Here are some brief pics:

  1. always sad when you lose one...he probably breathed in some birth fluid....it happens and there is nothing we can do...we always remember our lost ones X
As it is a fair sized litter, keep checking and top up any kittens if you need...its good you have this skill so all should be fine

  2. All are ok so and have gained a good amount of weight they are feeding on their own and she is cleaning them better now so will have to wait and see what happens. They are having extra milk and kitty stim for extra nutrients just incase but to be honest they hate the kitten milk so I may just leave it to odd feeds as I would rather they suckled on mum.
