WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

karlisa's babies playing

I had a nice relaxing day and spent most of it watching the kittens play. They are acting like real kittens now and if they aren't eating then they are playing and having the occasional nap. They love climbing all over me and biting my feet, great fun for them not so much for me. They are getting up to lots of mischief and had alittle play down stairs today for the first time. They are eating mainly on their own now which is giving mum a chance to recover alittle. She is starting to gain some weight back now and her coat is looking better which is great. As you can see in the pictures of them feeding on her they are getting quite big and having 5 monsters feeding off her all the time isn't great for keeping her looking in tip top condition, poor mum. They also like to jump on her alot so I think she will have to start teaching them manors otherwise they could get in some trouble when they meet the others.
Hope the new owners enjoy the pictures and look forward to seeing them in the flesh and as promised I have included pics of little Bogdana conquering the scratch post for Sue. Enjoy!

Ellie's baba's (Litter C)- 2 weeks old

Ellie's babies are two weeks old now and doing really well. She is being a really good mum and looks after them well. She does not mind as much now about me handling them and they are also getting used to being picked up. These babies are so chunky and big I can't believe it, compared to how little they seemed when born. They have gone from 100-110g at birth to now weighing between 310-340g at 2 weeks which is very good and they are bigger than Karlisa's where at that age which is a suprise but I guess if they are taking after their dad then they will grow up to be chunky boys as so is dad. I have two favourites in this litter a blue silver tabby who I now think is a classic/spotted not mackerel ( although not easy to tell yet) and a black smoke with white stripe on chin. He is very cute and has a lovely chunky round head and his expression is very cute.

I had not planned on keeping a boy but I am very taken with the blue silver tabby as I love his colour and have not had this colour before so depending on how he develops (he is the biggest still), I may keep him for my breeding program next year along with Boris from Karlisa's litter and of course fatty (Belle). Due to Boris also being a black smoke I don't really want two so all the black smokes in this litter will go as pets.

Here are some pictures of the baby boys (two of each) as I did not want to take too many at this young age.

Karlisa's baba's - 5 weeks (Litter B)

Another week has gone and the babies are 5 weeks now. They are doing great and I am very pleased with them. They are getting into all sorts of mischief now and will be leaving the kitten room soon to move downstairs and make room for Ellie's babies who are starting to try and climb out the nest box and so will be better going to the kitten room with more room to move and lots to play with. The size order of the kittens is still pretty much the same with Belle being the biggest and Boris the smallest still but they are all over 500g now. I have to say although the male is the smallest at the moment he has a huge personality and a very cute face. Out of the two that may be staying I think he has a better muzzle and profile whereas belle has the size and is around the same weight Gus was last year (male kitten from my first litter). At one year old he has gone on to weigh 6kg and is still growing so I suspect this girl will be quite hefty.

Mum is doing ok too considering she still has these kittens feeding one her. I have introduced them to food but they would rather feed off mum having only the occassional meal on their own. This as you can imagine has taken alot out of mum and she is not her normal hefty self right now. Hopefully in a few weeks they will be feeding less from mum and it will give her a chance to start gaining some weight back. She is not eating as much as she should be right now either so I am trying to tempt her with tasty foods! The smokes especially the females in this litter are also becoming alot lighter so I suspect they will be paler smokes when fully grown which is nice, I really like the black against the pale silver.

Here are the individual pictures of the babies. Can I just point out again for those new people who have enquired about kittens recently, this litter all have people interested in them and probably won't be available but we have 3 boys from litter C still looking for homes. They are 2 weeks old today and I will be posting pictures soon of this litter. Please contact me if you are interested in adopting one of these boys.
