WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

Introducing our 5th and final breeding girl!

I went to London today to collect my new breeding girl. She was a rather unexpected suprise as I had not planned on another so soon, but after seeing her I could not resist. The colour is one I have liked for a while now and being quite rare it is difficult to find breeders here who have kittens of this colour. She is a golden mackerel tabby siberian (or golden shaded as she will be registered as). I am very happy with this girl and she is very pretty and a lovely bright gold colour. She is settling well so far and is very friendly. A big thankyou to Melanie for this gorgeous girl, infact for two gorgeous girls. She is not as big as xena was at that age but still a good size for a kitten at 12 weeks. Well here are the pictures.... Introducing Snowgum Dahlia of Druzhina, our very special golden treasure!

Karlisa is home and not alone!

Well Karlisa arrived home this afternoon, we were very lucky to have her dropped off by the stud owner which saved me trecking all the way to collect her. She is exhausted and has done nothing but sleep apart from eating ofcourse as she wont miss food if she can help it. She has lost alittle weight over the last week which is to be expected after what she has been upto, but it will do her good as she did have some puppy fat from her last, small litter.

She was joined by our new stud boy who is on loan from this breeder. He will be on loan here for 6 months and is a lovely chunky boy and produces very chunky babies and he is a stunning colour. If all goes to plan he will father kittens with Ellie and Mia this year and xena early next year before he returns home. He is settling extremely well and loves his new home. At the moment he has full run of our outdoor enclosure. This will be split soon so that we can house the girl he will be mating with next to him for them to get aquainted before mating.

It has been a week since Karlisas first mating so I should get some indication of a pregnancy in 3 weeks or so. We will have another trip planned next saturday to pick up our final breeding girl. We were not planning on another so soon after xena but she is a colour I have wanted for a while now and being quite rare the chances of getting this colour again next year is slim. So she will be our last breeding cat that we buy for a while. Our import boy will be the only cat we will be buying in the next 12-18 months. So lots of very exciting things happening here.
I will introduce the boy and new girl soon so keep checking back....

still waiting for Karlisas return!

Well it has been a week on saturday since Karlisa went to stud. She went along just before her call as it was a way to travel so I had to try and predict when this call would be. Not as easy as it seems when your cats dont call regularly all the time. Anyways the current news is she is getting on well with her boyfriend and they snuggle up together to sleep but nothing more than that as yet. She is playing hard to get but hopefully will give in soon to his charms so we can bring her home. Miss her alot and the house is not the same without her :-(

missing my baby girl already!

Well not long returned home from a long trek out to stud with my baby girl Karlisa. It was a nice day out in english countryside and spent most of the afternoon with stud owner admiring her lovely boys. She has two strong contenders for the job of boyfriend to my beautiful girl but we decided to choose the boy that would most help my breeding program. He has the points lacking in our girl and although not a colour I would have thought of using initially, it is a colour that will help improve my silvers all being well. It was so hard leaving especially when she gave me those sad eyes as if to say please dont leave me here :-( It will be strange not having her here as she is a very strong character and such a baby, will miss the cuddles and kisses at night from her. Hopefully she wont be away too long and will return home pregnant. The boy is a very experienced boy so he knows his job well. This boy will be neutered this year and is the only one of his line here so we hope for a nice baby or two from him to keep. Will update when I know more ...

kittens update

For people on waiting list and others who may check the blog for updates we wont have any kittens for a couple of months at the earliest. One girl has decided she does not want to be a mummy just yet hence why our breeding plans are alittle behind. I will be taking one girl to stud tomorrow. I will post more news here when I have it but for now please be patient... we will then be mating another girl August time so should have plenty available to go to new homes end of year...good things come to those who wait and all that!
