WARNING! Scammers on free advertising sites selling so called pedigree kittens for cheap, do not approach these people and go only to a registered breeder. I have also noticed people selling very young unvaccinated, unregistered kittens for cheap on these sites, again these type of kittens do not make great pets and are far to young to be rehomed, they most likely won't be purebred siberians either!

Information on my website 'adopting a kitten page' on why you should choose a reputable, registered breeder.

Gus in his new home

We went to see our baby boy in his new home and give him his christmas present. We cannot believe how much he has filled out and has certainly made himself right at home. We sat and had a chat with the new owners getting an update on all his antics and watching him play with his new best friends, Gizmo the ocicat and Bob the maine coon. He was so funny to watch and is extremely cheeky. At one point he was running around with a toy that I got him in his mouth with a 6kg maine coon chasing him, but he did not give it up and defended the toy well even letting of the old growl and swipe at the other cat.

He has put on 0.5kg in the two weeks he has been with his new owners and eats like a horse, not the kitten I remember who I have to say was alittle fussy. It must be all that running round playing that is giving him such a big appetite. He is looking even more gorgeous now and has settled in really well from the start. We are so pleased there have been no problems and hope he goes on to develop well. He is certainly the king of his castle by all accounts and adores Gizmo who apparently is his best friend. Look forward to seeing him next year when we hope to take him out to a show. x

christmas cat show

Spoticat christmas special show on 12th/13th of December. We are a bit late posting this but have been really busy. We took Karlisa to this show as we felt Max needed a break from showing so it was less hectic than usual. We had a bad start to show on the sunday as I slept in and ended up having to get train down on sunday so ended up arriving late and missing some rings.
Was a very busy show with lots of cats so difficult for my sibby girl. She did well and scored the following
7 second bob and 1 third bob
10th best all breed female cat
8th best allbreed tabby cat
best junior siberian cat

No all breed finals this time but she got Champion at her first show and now has the points for Grand Champion so all we need now is 1 more final next year. She is such a dream to show and very well behaved, we could not ask for a more relaxed cat for showing.
Well done baby girl x
Our next show probably wont be till March next year as we need a break from showing but we hope to take Karlisa, Max and Gus to this show.
We took some pictures of the show see below, we made some lovely christmas drapes to help get everyone in the festive mood and doesn't she look pretty!

baby update on Gus

Well we have news from the parents of Gus our first baby siberian. He has settled in very well and was playing pretty much straight away when he arrived at his new home after two days he has settled right in and has now been introduced to the other cats. A big maine coon and ocicat. According to Carol the ocicat has taken a real shine to him and follows him around and they groom each other and even sleep together. How cute!! He has been getting upto all sorts of mischief and even managed to get into the fridge, well they do say sibbies like the cold, he loves the outside run and playing in it so much that Carol has trouble getting him in. He seems to be settling in really well and his confident nature has certainly helped along with the early socialisation and I bet it wont be too long before he is boss of the house. He also has alot of admirers in the form of visitors to the Kelly household which is no suprise...he is gorgeous!

It is lovely to hear that our baby is settling in to his new home and not missing us too much!
We Hope to go and visit him before christmas to see how he is doing and give him a little christmas present, so I will be taking my camera to get some new pictures, can't wait. Hope he has not forgotten me already.lol
Once again I would like to say a big thankyou to his new owners for offering him such a loving and spoilt home. I am sure he will be well cared for and loved very very much x

Gus has flown the nest!

Well our little boy went today and it was very hard especially watching his new owners drive off with him. I was nearly crying at one point at the thought of him being with strangers. I hope he is ok and not worrying to much about what has happened to him and where his mummy and friends have all gone. I am sure given 48 hrs he will have forgotton all about us here. I cant wait for updates and pictures, so Carol if you read this send me as many as you can I will treasure them, thanks for adopting my beautiful boy hope he brings you as much joy as he has me. x
